1 ball pizza dough (7 oz), stretched to 11"
⅓ cup mushrooms (crimini, white button, or baby bella), cut into ⅛” slices, plus more for garnish
¾ cup shredded cheese
1 egg
3 slices (1 ½ oz) prosciutto
Freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
Preheat oven to 550ºF (290ºC). Place the stretched dough into the skillet and evenly distribute the mushrooms and shredded cheese on top. Cook over medium heat until bottom is lightly browned, about 2–3 minutes.
Transfer to oven and bake for 4–5 minutes. Remove from oven, crack an egg in the center, then broil for 1–3 minutes until crust edges are golden. Garnish with prosciutto, a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil, and black pepper, and serve.
You can substitute the pizza dough with store-bought pizza dough, if desired.
